Successful and sustainable continuous improvement systems rely heavily on how systems integrate tools as one management system, and on how strategically the journey to operational excellence is embarked on. Unfortunately many of the companies have focused on tools and radical changes which result in high costs, long learning curves, long gestation periods and unsustainable improvements.
