Explore the myriad of laws that govern leaves of absences in California and analyze the legal obligations imposed by recent legal developments. We'll identify open legal issues and develop strategies for administering and managing leaves effectively. Specifically, you'll get prepared to:

-Define the interplay between state and federal leave laws
-Build policies and practices that comply with legal obligations
-Administer employee leaves legally and fairly
-Develop strategies for employees returning to work

Speaker: Walter Stella, Partner, Bingham McCutchen, LLP represents clients in all aspects of employment litigation and counseling. Walter's clients have included both emerging growth as well as Fortune 500 and other multinational corporations.
