EVENT: FUNDRAISER
THE GENERAL STORE and Presents "WORKOUT" a dance party fundraiser for DC Writerscorp to raise funds for The DC Youth Slam Team's expenses (transportation, food, supplies) & paying local artists to work with the team during the Brave New Voices International Youth Poetry Slam July 15-19.In other words, all monies raised will go directly into the hands of local youth and artists, not any kind of organizational overhead

SPIN DR. DJ NYCE(NY/DC) spins a sweaty mix of 80's workout music, electronica, and hip hop. Guests are encouraged to rock their brightest and tightest retro workout gear.
