About the instructor:
Andrew Bender, Consultant, Japan Intercultural Consulting
Andrew holds an MBA/MA with concentrations in Multinational Management and East Asian Studies from the Joseph H. Lauder Institute and the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He has significant experience as an employee of Japanese firms in both Japan and the U.S., including the Nomura Securities Group, Fujisankei Communications Group, and The Motion Syndicate. Through this varied work experience, Andrew has gained an in-depth understanding of Japanese business practices and how they differ from those that are typical in the U.S. He will draw on this experience to illustrate important cultural differences in this seminar.
