WordCamp Toronto 2009

What is WordCamp?WordCamp is a conference type of event that
focuses squarely on everything WordPress. Everyone from casual end
users all the way up to core developers show up to these events. These
events are usually highlighted by speeches or keynotes by various
people.BackSpaceStudios and PHUG - Open Source Culture, will be hosting WordCamp
Toronto 2009! We want to explore WordPress to a higher degree and were
looking for a bigger venue, sponsorships and more! In 2009, we would
like to expand the conference to include all walks of WordPress life,
from commercial to non-profit, from amateur to professional bloggers,
designers and developers, and explore other ways in which WordPress is
being used outside the blogging community.

Nick La - Key Note Speaker!Nick La is a freelance illustrator/designer and web design blogger. He is the influence behind the popular blog Web Designer Wall and Best Web Gallery. His work is regularly featured in design publications such as: Computer Arts, Web Designer, Practical Web Design, DIGIT, and Web Design Index.
