If there ever was a doggie love-in, this is it. Woofstock®, North America's largest outdoor festival for dogs and their two-footed companions, returns June 7th and 8th to Toronto's historic St. Lawrence Market Neighborhood for its sixth year. Quirky and fun, Woofstock® is a free admission, festive entertainment and consumer show.

This exciting, expansive location drew over 140,000 dog lovers and their canine companions from across North America last year. More than 200 companies will be offering the latest in pooch food, fashion, furnishings and unique services that will provide everything that a cool canine would need to live well in this dog-eat-dog world.

Woofstock® officially launches with its annual Doggie High Tea for canine cancer survivors or dogs living with cancer, on June 1st at the Le Royal Meridian King Edward Hotel.

On June 7th and 8th, there will be zany contests that unleash the best that dogs of every size, breed and pedigree have to offer. Woofstock® is going green this year and all attendees will be given fully-compostable doggie scooperbags while the festival will be powered by Bullfrog Power. New this year is DockDogs where dogs will be taking flying leaps off a dock into a 40-foot pool in pursuit of a floatable toy that must be retrieved. Returning favourites include Extreme Doggie Makeovers, Fashion Show and on Sunday, the “Rescue Me Walk-a-Thon” supporting Ontario Canine Rescue.
