The Diamond Family Archive
Trance-like and intimate, folksongs for darker hearts, Laurence Collyer's mesmerising live performances are hard to translate to record but, they do and amazingly so. Chilling evocative lyrics coupled with a droning countryfied guitar and assorted accompaniment. Imagine how Bob Dylan and the Band might have sounded if they'd been holed up in a cold drizzling English countryside with only bottles of cough syrup and Lou Reed's Berlin LP on constant rotation. It's that good.

"Laurence Collyer's Diamond Family Archive is a unique, revolving ensemble, centring around his ghostly, deeply emotive songwriting. Imagine Mark Koselek's haunting folk with elements of Robert Wyatts heartwrenching
vocals - combined with Collyer's beautiful songs this is a truly great little disc." - Rough Trade

Robert Stillman (Horses)
HORSES is wordless music and sound by Robert Stillman. The spirit of 'Horses' music is somewhere between the fairground, the rural parlor, and the stars; while the shrewd listener may be able to pick out hints of Stillman's influences, (among whom he counts John Fahey, Kurt Weill, Scott Joplin, and Maurice Ravel), his music exists on its own terms, a detailed musical territory unto itself.

Attendees of Stillman's live shows have come to expect the unexpected; a 'Horses' performance can mean a one-man-band, tape-based sound collage, live accompaniment of silent archive footage, or a full ensemble event.

Clara Kindle
Clara Kindle is an anagram under which illustrator Daniel Michael Clark (b. 1988) records music. Daniel spent much of his childhood exploring the woods surrounding a smallholding his parent's bought together or playing in the junk shop his father owned in a nearby town. Today he lives in Brighton where he splits his time between making music, drawings & short films.

“…this is a dusky hued record crackling with imagination that feels totally and utterly free. Melodies tangle but never too tightly, vocals turn out of a whisper and a song, it’s all so heartbreakingly tender, even when breaking to abstraction the record feels structured and nuanced. I can’t wait for the album, or whatever comes next. I’m in for life, I suggest you join too’-Eyeless Records (Oxford).
