Women's Way Honors Anne Fessler: the Girls Who Went Away March 6, 2008

Women's Way honors author Anne Fessler at its annual Ernesta Drinker Ballard Book Prize Event. Fessler's book uncovers stories of more than 100 of the 1.5 million women surrendering children for adoption due to enormous family/social pressure post-World War II and before Roe v. Wade.
