Women's History Month Celebration March 23, 2012

Begins with a luncheon and keynote speaker Cassandra D. Emery, Executive Director/CEO, YWCA of Richmond, followed by two panel discussions and entertainment.

Guests on the first panel will include Cheryl Hicks, author, historian and associate professor at University of North Carolina at Charlotte, Sindy Benavides, political director for the Northern Virginia Senatorial Campaign, and Tonya Mallory, CEO, Health Diagnostics Laboratory, Inc.  The second panel will include students from J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College, Virginia Commonwealth University and the University of Richmond.

The program will conclude with a musical “Salute to Women” by the Jazz Ladies sponsored by the Richmond Jazz Society. Local newswoman Reba Hollingsworth will emcee the event.
