To learn more about the Women of Wind Energy (WoWE): http://www.windustry.org/women-of-wind-energy

Women of Wind Energy (WoWE) is a group of individuals who support and encourage the participation and advancement of professional women in the wind energy industry.
Both women and men have come together to develop WoWE into a leading organization that promotes greater involvement and employment of women in the wind energy industry, and provides a unique professional networking forum. Established in 2005, WoWE has blossomed into a network of more than 500 people who have attended our annual scholarship luncheons or event Meet Ups and chapter meetings held across the country. We are guided by a Steering Committee of eight women from across the industry who volunteer their time, and are backed up administratively by Minneapolis-based Windustry, the leading organization in advancing community wind power projects, and also a woman-led company.

Organized by Center for Resource Solutions
CRS is a national non-profit working to mitigate climate change by
building policies and consumer-protection mechanisms in renewable
energy, greenhouse gas reductions, and energy efficiency.
