Women into Leadership II: The Journey to the Boardroom March 26, 2010

Following the success of the first Women into Leadership event held in 2009 we would like to invite you to attend this years’ event. The event is jointly organized by the West Yorkshire Lifelong Learning Network (WYLLN) Leadership, Management, Innovation and Enterprise sector group and the UK Resource Centre for Women in Science, Engineering & Technology.

WYLLN would like to invite you to attend this half day workshop which will focus on the journey to the boardroom. The workshop will include presentations and professional discussion time, and will provide you with the opportunity to: Gain practical advice on how to gain a position on a board; Participate in group exercises and discussions on the benefits of inclusive boards; Hear about individual case studies and take part in group activities; Network with colleagues with an interest in leadership, management and equality issues in the science, engineering and technology sector.
