Wolfgang Books Reading Series at Steel City Coffee House September 11, 2010

The Wolfgang Books Reading Series at Steel City Coffee House is back for its fall run. Tom McAllister will help us kick off (ha ha) the event when he joins us to discuss his recently published memoir BURY ME IN MY JERSEY: A MEMOIR OF MY FATHER, FOOTBALL, AND PHILLY. A longtime resident of the Philadelphia area and a graduate of the Iowa Writer’s Workshop, Tom now teaches at Temple University.

BURY ME IN MY JERSEY has been called “a profound and personal meditation on manhood itself…a wonderful book” (Justin Cronin) and “a treasure trove of a memoir, brimming over with insight, urgency, exhilaration, and grief” (Kevin Brockmeier).What’s more, the event is the day before the Eagles open up their season.
