Joining the list of ?it? Montreal indie bands, including The Arcade Fire and The Unicorns, is WOLF PARADE. Their keyboard-heavy art rock, which they compare to fellow Canadians Frog Eyes (Do we detect a Canuck animal band name trend here?), has recently become a hot topic of discussion among indie rock fans due to a tour with breakout act Modest Mouse. Coincidentally, Modest Mouse lead singer Isaac Brock became so infatuated with Wolf Parade that he secured the band a record deal with revered indie label Sub Pop.
