Within the Emperor’s Garden: The Ten Thousand Springs Pavilion July 11, 2009

Immerse yourself in Chinese history and culture-in only for a few hours! Irving is now hosting Within the Emperor’s Garden: The Ten Thousand Springs Pavilion, a beautiful 1/5 scale replica of the pavilion that can be found in the Imperial Garden of Beijing's Forbidden City. Also housed within this exhibit are photos and text panels (written in Chinese and English) that tell all about the construction of the 9-foot tall model hand carved from red sandalwood and give information about the Imperial Garden itself.
