Centre for Inquiry (CFI) Ontario presents a talk by Gretta Vosper, Author, Controversial Minister of West Hill United Church and Chair of the Canadian Centre for Progressive Christianity, on her new book.
In Vosper’s church there are no prayers. No miracle-performing magic Jesus. And no omnipotent almighty god at all. The Christian church, in current form, has outlived its glory days and must shed its no longer credible myths, doctrines, and dogmas to survive. The Church could play a viable and transformative role in the future of our society. But what radical change will save it from demise?
