Wishing Chair (CD fundraising benefit) July 2, 2004

This is a benefit concert to help raise the $20,000 the band needs in order to make the new CD.

"As both a valued friend and supporter of our dream, you know music is our passion, our life and our livelihood. In the past we've managed to record and produce quality CDs in the midst of a hectic tour schedule. Along with our greater exposure and recognition comes the need to continue to produce higher quality recordings. We need to concentrate on this recording with fewer distractions so we can take this CD and it's production to the next level, and have a more satisfying, healthy, professionally enriching time while doing it.

Mark Hallman of Congress House Studios in Austin, Texas, a well-respected producer and engineer (Ani DiFranco, Eliza Gilkyson, Dave Alvin, Shawn Colvin) has agreed to co-produce. World class photographer Irene Young will be shooting the cover photo. All these gains are expensive but well worth it. The long-term impact will be an investment in even better music, reaching more people and serving our community. That sounds like true success to us!"
