After humble beginnings playing college bands in small town Oregon and Minnesota, songwriters Branden Boyd and Brian Cooper met in Portland, Oregon, while teaching music at the German American School. After quickly recognizing a strong commonality in musical influences and aspirations, they began collaborating on their original songs together -- playing the singer-songwriter circuit at various coffee shops and open mics.
