The WISE Symposium is half day forum where health care professionals will learn about newly published research results pertaining to young HIV + women and the barriers they face when accessing primary health care services in Vancouver, BC.

Symposium participants will also have the opportunity to hear about and discuss successful practices in the city. Our facilitator will help you envision a few simple steps you can take to strengthening your practice with this sometimes overlooked demographic.

A delicious and ethical lunch will be provided. The symposium will be held in the Alma Vandusen and Peter Kaye rooms on the ground floor of the Vancouver Public Library. Parking is available in the library parking lot, in addition to street level metered parking. This symposium is free of charge.
