Winter's Gifts: Light December 15, 2007

The celebration of light is universal. Drawing on this common theme, the San José Chamber Orchestra and The Choral Project will weave a rich tapestry of music and song from around the globe. Highlights include works by Rutter, Tavener, Mendelssohn and Anica Galindo, as well as music that honors Hanukkah, Tet and Diwali by Bay Area composer Michael Touchi. Traditional holiday gems will round out this festive celebration of light. Truly a hallmark of the holidays!
