Far Beyond Sushi - EDO

Allow EDO to take you on a unique exploration back to the Edo period, to the subtleties and splendour of Japanese cuisine. Travel from what is commonly known about sushi to what it can be. Learn about the various kinds of tuna including O-Toro, and other less understood but enticing elements. From sushi, the guest is introduced to a window on the expanse and complexity of Japanese cuisine. This dining experience will be enhanced by a wine and sake tasting that will offer a rare opportunity to understand which accompaniment enhances which food and why. Guests will also enjoy a commentary on the influence of Japanese essence on and in other cuisines as well as cultural and historical perspectives.
