Bring your beloved pooches to Winter Woofstock, the largest and most unique indoor festival for dogs and their owners in North America. Toronto's Direct Energy Centre at Exhibition Place hosts this massive fun-filled weekend party November 19 and 20.

With over 160 vendors offering everything from holly scented spray for dogs and reversible Santa/Elf suits with pom pom hoods to custom collars and doggie treadmills , Winter Woofstock is a weekend-long doggie-themed shopping extravaganza, and the perfect place for dog owners - and their pets - to meet, connect. There isn't a toy, fashion line, accessory, line of treats, or exclusive service for dogs that you can't find at Woofstock. And check out the tail-waggingly fun events:

- “Wiener Dog Races” and “Running of the Pugs”: Dachshunds and pugs race towards the finish line to win a whack of Bullwrinkle pizzle chew treats.

- Best Holiday Costume contest: Your pooch can put its best paw forward and compete for the best costume.

- Breakfast with Santa: Owners can have their dogs’ photos taken with the jolly old man himself!

Woofstock favourites such as the fashion shows and the highly popular Stupid Dog Tricks and Mrs. and Mr. Canine Canada Contest will also be returning.

After shopping for your pet, posh pooches will be able to take a break in a luxurious dog heaven other wise known as the VIP (Very Important Pooches) Lounge, where cool canines and their power-shopping owners will be ushered in by a doorman to "paws" in a magnificent lounge with crystal chandeliers, leather couches, doggie beds and, of course specially designated VIP doggie beds.
