Winter Volunteer Festival January 29, 2012

With over 1,000 committed volunteers providing life-saving services throughout the community, the Washtenaw-Lenawee Chapter of the American Red Cross would like to showcase the hard work of these essential volunteer staff members.

The Chapter will be holding its first Winter Volunteer Festival on January 29, 2012 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Ann Arbor office, located at 4624 Packard Road.

The public is invited to join in order to learn more about volunteers’ efforts throughout the community. Food and door prizes have been generously provided by local businesses.

American Red Cross volunteers are essential to providing disaster relief services, communication services for armed forces members, blood services, and health and safety services to the community. Without volunteers, these vital services could not be offered.
