The southeastern coastal plain is a dynamic place to bird during the snowy and cold days of winter. Waterfowl like eiders, goldeneyes, and buffleheads abound, and "half-hardy" landbird lingerers like catbirds, towhees, and hermit thrushes can be found in local thickets. On field trips we will visit locations like Falmouth, Sandy Neck, the Cape Cod Canal, Plymouth, Westport and Acoaxet. Dress in layers, grab your bins, and get your year list off to a great start! Registration is required. Call 508-753-6087 for details. See http://www.massaudubon.org/catalog/listing.php?program_code=811-BM11WI1 for more information.
