Winter Arts Festival - City of Perth May 31, 2006

From June to October see theatre, hear music, discuss art politics and so much more as the city's pre- eminent cultural organisations present the annual City of Perth Winter Arts Festival.
The program includes a wide range of events such as the Perth premier of "Amadeus" presented by His Majesty's Theatre in association with the Perth Theatre Company, a compelling exhibition on the elusive "Bunyip" at the State Library, a powerful production of "Nabucco" (by Guiseppe Verdi) by the Western Australian Opera and a new "Mozart" concert series by the Western Australian Symphony Orchestra. There is also new and experimental art at the Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts and youth productions at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts and the Western Australian Youth Ballet.
