Laurence Juber, acoustic guitar virtuoso and composer, two-time Grammy winner, and former lead guitarist for Paul McCartney's band Wings, hits the Firehouse Arts Center for a special night of solo guitar. Voted Fingerstyle Guitarist of the Year, his solo performances fuse folk, jazz, blues, and pop styles to create a dynamic multi-faceted concert experience. He has been described as a 'One Man Band on the Run.' The show is one night only.

Juber, known to his fans as 'LJ,' has released over 20 albums, and his two solo albums launching in 2013 include, a limited-edition audiophile vinyl 12" LP titled Under An Indigo Sky. Of the project he says "Digital technology is incredibly convenient, but it filters out some of the emotional space. Vinyl is the immersive listening experience that I grew up with." To maintain the album's retro vibe, it was mixed to analog tape at Hollywood's legendary Capitol Studios by top jazz recording engineer Al Schmitt. How's that for cool.

Juber left a profitable studio career to join Paul McCartney and Wings, with whom he toured and recorded for over three years until they disbanded. When Wings was no more, Juber moved to the United States where he resumed studio work, rising quickly to the top. He can be heard on recordings from artists as diverse as Dan Hicks & The Hot Licks, Seal, and Barry Manilow. In addition he is featured guitarist on soundtracks to hundreds of films and TV shows, including Dirty Dancing, Good Will Hunting, and the iconic James Bond theme for The Spy Who Loves Me. And that's him playing the Pink Panther Theme on the Grammy winning Henry Mancini album Pink Guitar. Okay, and him again on the video game soundtrack Diablo III, which he co-composed, the NBC Dateline documentary Children of the Harvest, and the Ken Burns film The Tenth Inning. The guy gets around.

LJ will be available after the show to sign CDs and meet with audience members.
