Wines of Central Italy: Tuscany, Umbria, Marche and Lazio October 24, 2007

From the gentle hills of Tuscany to the more austere vineyards of Umbria and the plains of Marche and Lazio, we will tour wonderful red and white wines, learn the differences between Chiantis and Super-Tuscans, discover little known treasures of small Umbrian villages and the easy-to-drink wines from Marche and Lazio.
We will try wines such as Chiantis, Super-Tuscans, Brunello di Montalcino, Rosso di Torgiano and di Montefalco, Orvietto, Lacrima, Verdicchio, Vin Santo and Frascati.
