June 3 Syrah vs. Petite Sirah $20
Are Petite Sirah and Syrah related? Are they not? Well, about the only thing that most experts will agree upon is that Petite Sirah makes for a heavy and tannic wine; while Syrah, lighter in style and weight, possesses many of the same flavors as Petite Sirah. This tasting will present a rare and excellent opportunity to compare these two heavy hitter grape varietals side-by-side in many of their admired styles.
