Wine, Jazz and A Movie August 30, 2007

This fund-raising event for the Stanislaus Literacy Center begins with a wine, cheese and jazz reception featuring Gallo Family Wines and a selection of meats and cheeses courtesy of Hilmar Cheese and jazz by Seven Minutes of Failure. The movie, 'The Ron Clark Story' starring Matthew Perry, is an inspiring tale about an energetic, creative and idealistic young teacher who leaves his North Caroline hometown to teach in a New York City public school. Through his highly innovative teaching techniques and an undying devotion to helping his students cope with a multitude of problems, Clark is able to make a remarkable difference in the lives of his students.
