Wine Australia Week-Wine Dinners at Bondi bar and kitchen June 6, 2007

It’s Wine Australia‘s first-ever wine week—in San Diego. As part of wine week, Bondi bar and kitchen will host a week of winemaker dinners featuring a unique Australian winemaker each evening.

Wednesday, June 6- 6:00 pm- Australian Greats presented by Old Bridge Cellars. Enjoy great Australian wines from Old Bridge Cellars over a dinner prepared by Chef Chris Behre.

Thursday, June 7- 7:30 pm- Plantagenet Wine Dinner, 7:30 pm. Explore amazing wines from this iconic Great Southern winery featured on Bondi's exclusively Australian wine list, with Matt Herde, Plantagenet's wine specialist, paired with the wonderful cuisine of Chef, Chris Behre.

Friday, June 8- 6:00 pm- Cape Mentelle Wine Dinner. Discover the exceptional wines of Cape Mentelle from the Margaret River with Chief Winemaker, James Gosper. His selection is paired with authentic Australian tastes from Chef Chris Behre.

Sunday, June 10-6:00 pm- Yering Station Wine Dinner. Don't miss Yering Station's Winemaker, Tom Carson, on his first visit to the US at this wine maker dinner paired with Chef Chris Behre's Australian cuisine.

Monday, June 11- 6:00 pm- Peter Lehmann Wine Dinner. Join Ian Hongell from Peter Lehmann Wines of South Australia's Barossa Valley for his wine selection paired with Chef Chris Behre's fresh Australian tastes.
