Windrush School warmly invites visitors to our Admissions Information Evening on Thursday, January 10 at 7:00 p.m. A series of panels and presentations by teachers, staff, students and alumni will provide an overview of our progressive K-8 academic program.

Windrush School brings out the best in each student with an engaging academic curriculum that focuses on the skills needed to solve complex, real-world problems. We prepare our students to make informed decisions involving critical thinking, teamwork, and learning by doing. Windrush students enjoy the support of a dynamic, culturally diverse learning community. Respect and responsibility for self and others, and pleasure in both individual and collaborative achievement are hallmarks of a Windrush student.

Windrush Middle School students are renowned as analytical readers, creative problem solvers, independent thinkers and eloquent writers. They flourish in academically challenging high schools, where they have been praised for their "intellectual curiosity, kindness, and depth of character."

Ilana Kaufman, Head of Windrush School: "Children deserve a school that will see them for who they are, develop their potential, encourage a lifelong love of learning and accomplishment, and nurture a sense of respect for themselves and for others. The very best schools function as supportive communities that prepare children to be skillful, thoughtful and caring individuals capable of meeting the future with knowledge, optimism, resilience, innovation and creativity. In such a school community, academic, personal, and civic excellence are one and the same. Windrush is such a school, and these values and goals are at the very heart of our mission and vision."
