'Wilting Wonder' is an exhibition of new work by Mike Aho, Mel Kadel, Travis Millard, and Michael Sieben. All four artists regularly collaborate on projects together and Wilting Wonder is their latest endeavor. For this show, the artists are appropriating printing techniques and materials from the commercial art world while converting them into art objects as opposed to advertisements for a product. Recycled plastic and biodegradable inks will be used as the medium to explore themes present in the artist's personal work such as loss of innocence and the fading magic of childhood. In addition, each of the artists will be exhibiting recent individual works on paper and/or wood which will create a visual tension between the mediums.

Travis Millard is responsible for the Fudge Factory Comics operation headquartered in Los Angeles. His work has been exhibited in the US and internationally, and has been published in numerous books and magazines. Recently, Narrow Books released "Hey Fudge", a 240 page collection of Fudge Factory Comics and drawings.

Her drawings have been exhibited widely across the U.S. and abroad. Mel has also been involved in commercial projects for Volcom, Foundation Skateboards, and various bands including Silversun Pickups.  http://www.melkadel.com

Michael Sieben  lives in Austin, Texas with his wife Allison and their two cats Nathan and Josie. Sieben spends his days drawing, painting, skateboarding, designing skateboard graphics, designing t-shirt graphics, writing and illustrating articles for Thrasher magazine, working on various projects with the Volcom Art Loft, and operating Okay Mountain Gallery with his fellow okay mountaineers. When he isn't doing any of the aforementioned activities he is most likely eating soy cheese pizza or swimming in the creek.

Mike Aho's current visual art, film work and music have come together in recent years to create a cohesive body of work that uses low-fidelity sounds and images to create a world of discontent and surreality that is overgrown with people, dieing foliage and occasional sarcastic disgust. As a commercial artist he is currently working with Volcom Clothing,Transworld Skateboard Magazine, Bueno Skateboards and Listen! Skateboards and recently directed videos for RTX and The Cold War Kids.  Mike Aho lives in Costa Mesa, California but does not consider it home.
