Wilridge Winery 20th Anniversary Winemaker's Dinner

The Tower Club will host twenty years of vintage wines from Wilridge Winery on February 27, 2009 at 6p.m. Wilridge Winemaker Paul Beveridge and Co-Owner Lysle Wilhelmi will present the best wines from their personal wine library that exemplify the first twenty years of Wilridge. The wines will be paired with a six course meal prepared by Chef James B. Hassell and designed to complement each of the vintage wines. Included with the dinner will be a rare tasting of the original 1988 Wilridge Cabernet Sauvignon from Sagemoor Vineyards, a sampling of the winery's 90 point and above rated wines from the 1990s, and The evening represents a unique opportunity to try rare aged wines at their peak of flavor matched with complementary cuisine.

Those who attended the 15th Anniversary Wilridge Dinner at the Club in 2003 remember it as an event not to be missed. We cannot guarantee the same spectacular sunset this time, but the food, wine and service will be equally dazzling.

Winery: Wilridge is a small family winery specializing in single vineyard wines from Washington State. The winery was founded in 1988 in the Madrona neighborhood of Seattle. Owners Lysle Wilhelmi (Sales Manager) and Paul Beveridge (Winemaker) live near the winery with their sons Mack and Liam.

Philosophy: Wilridge's goal is to find the best vineyard sites in Washington State and hand make wines to bring out the unique characteristics of each vineyard's "terroir." We work with winegrowers who share our goal of producing the best possible wine without compromise. Each year, Wilridge wines highlight the characteristics of the vineyard and the vintage.
