Willie Lockett has played trumpet in Professor Longhair's band in the mid 60s and has since performed at numerous bars and clubs throughout Louisiana. He has shared the stage with Wayne Bennett, Z.Z. Hill, Ernie K- Doe, Albert Collins, Gatemouth Brown and others.
