William T. Coleman, who along with an exciting career as a business litigator, was involved in the historic Brown v. Board of Education case and was the first person of color to clerk for the Supreme Court. In his extraordinary career, Coleman, winner of the 1995 Presidential Medal of Freedom, also was a senior counsel to the Warren Commission, an active business and civil lawyer, and was appointed Secretary of Transportation by President Ford.
