William Morris Hunt and the French Tradition January 26, 2010

Prints, drawings and paintings from the museum's collection, as well as several works by William Morris Hunt on loan from the Bennington Museum, connect Hunt's painting to the traditions of the Barbizon School and explore his role in bringing French artistic ideas to the United States.
