William Lynchack and John Reed will read from their upcoming books October 18, 2004

William Lychack's work has appeared in Best American Short Stories and on public radio's This American Life. His first novel, The Wasp Eater came out this fall with Houghton Mifflin, and a collection of stories, The Architect of Flowers, appears next summer with the same publisher.

John Reed is author of the novels, A Still Small Voice(Delacorte
Press 2000, Delta Books 2001), Snowball?s Chance (Roof Books 2002), and the forthcoming, The Whole (MTV Books/Simon & Schuster 2004).
