as part of the Tea Series, a monthly jazz and tea series at Theaterlab.

Will Calhoun's solo Electronic/Acoustic, Ambient/Visual Performance, exploring the sonic history of traditional drumming and ancestral grooves with the birth of technology. Expect to see and hear a wide range of the Calhoun arsenal in this mesmerizing performance, including an eclectic array of electronics, drums, and indigenous flutes, with arresting visuals featuring his photography from research abroad.

Will Calhoun, the widely acclaimed drummer from the Bronx, New York, graduated from the Berklee School of Music in Boston, where he received a Bachelors degree in Music Production and engineering. He was also the recipient of the prestigious Buddy Rich Jazz Masters Award for outstanding performance by a drummer.
