Heralded as "one of the best-kept jazz-guitar secrets on the planet," Will Bernard has long been underground favorite in the jazz scene. Gaining momentum from his days playing with Don Cherry as a member of Peter Apfelbaum's Hieroglyphics Ensemble to his breakout as a band leader, Will has lent his talents to an array of genres and artists, including Jai Uttal, the Coup, Leroy "Horsemouth" Wallace, and the Stanton Moore Trio. Will Bernard is a two-time Grammy nominee, earning his first nod in 1997 with T.J. Kirk and his second in 2008 for his own record, "Party Hats."

Currently touring in support of his latest Palmetto release, "Blue Plate Special," Will Bernard has invited the same ensemble of all-star players straight from the studio to the stage. Joining Will for this performance will be Andy Hess on bass, John Medeski on keyboards, and Stanton Moore on drums. Only one stop on this tour is in the mid-Atlantic region, so make sure not to miss Will Bernard Band at the State Theatre in Falls Church, VA on Wednesday, March 25!
