Wilkes Bashford Celebrates Dads with Head-to-Toe Trunk Show June 12, 2010

Come celebrate Wilkes Bashford, the upscale specialty clothing store for women and men located in San Francisco, celebrates all dads with a Head-to-Toe trunk show. At this pre-Father’s Day shopping extravaganza, shoppers and their dads can enjoy fittings by Optimo Hats, a leading producer of men’s custom-made hats; hundreds of rare vintage cufflinks from Antique Jewel Box; and an array of leather accessories by Moore and Giles, including exquisite leather bags and wallets.

Guests can also pick up the world’s finest, uniquely designed socks by Ovadafut Socks, or Torino Belts, made of exotic skins and leathers. Wilkes Bashford is also pleased to re-introduce Penhaligons, cologne and shave gifts for Dad, in honor of Father’s Day.

Artist and sculptor Steve Maloney will be on hand to showcase his Bronze Tie Collection, featuring 11 exquisitely crafted true-to-size bronze sculpture ties. The colorful patina of the medium shines as beautiful as silk, and will be displayed on Wilkes Bashford’s third floor and some street-level windows.

A portion of proceeds from the Head-to-Toe trunk show will benefit the Boys & Girls Club of San Francisco.
