Artisan Market: Saturday,May 31 Wildflower Seed Give-Away : Plant flowers and help save the bees/Honey Bees are in danger and are disappearing worldwide. They pollinate 30% of plants necessary for our food supply. Haagen-Dazs is providing 2,000 packets of wildflower seeds for plants favored by foraging honey bees. Fort Greene resident and beekeeper, John Howe of Brooklyn Bee Apiary,is coordinating this effort and will be on hand to offer advice and answer any questions you may have about bees and their role as part of our ecosystem.
