Wilderness Trail Ride April 8, 2009

Enjoy a relaxing trail ride at beautiful Deer Prairie Creek Nature Preserve!
This guided tour on horseback is nice and easy, perfect for novice riders. Bask in the serenity of miles of trails shaded by ancient oak trees dripping with Spanish Moss and all kinds of air plants (Orchids, Bromeliads, Ferns, rare Lichen, etc.).
We plan to ride for about two hours from 10-12. Please arrive by 9:45. After the ride, you are welcome to stay for an informal picnic lunch (not provided).
Bring the whole family! Both English and western-style saddles will be used and riding helmets are furnished but not required. Riders must be at least 6 years of age. Long pants (jeans or jodhpurs) and boots/shoes with heels (not sneakers) are suggested but not required.
