Join Friends of Ryerson Woods in the greenhouse at the Sandhill Organics farm at Prairie Crossing in Grayslake for a discussion of In Defense of Food. Pollan’s bracing and eloquent manifesto shows us how we can start making thoughtful food choices that will enrich our lives, enlarge our sense of what it means to be healthy, and bring pleasure back to eating. We will also learn about what it means to be an organic farmer in Lake County from Peg Sheaffer of Sandhill Organics.
