Support Environmental Education for Local Children!

Environmental Volunteers invites you to attend Wild Crush 2009, an annual gala honoring 37 years of environmental education in Silicon Valley at 6:30 pm on Sat, April 25. Tickets are $175 for dinner, wine by local vintners, live jazz music, auction, exploration of EV materials and programs and a night of friendship and community support. This year, the EV is celebrating the launch of its 9th classroom program called "energy and natural resources" that teaches about energy use and climate change. The EV is also celebrating progress on building a new HQ at the Palo Alto Baylands: an EcoCenter, a community resource for environmental education. The nonprofit Environmental Volunteers serves 11,000 children annually at schools in San Mateo and Santa Clara counties.
