Wild At Heart: Thanksgiving Is Murder on Turkeys! October 7, 2006

Thanksgiving is just around the corner here in Canada and with that comes the senseless and cruel slaughter of millions of turkeys. Over 20 million turkeys are slaughtered each year in Canada and before their deaths, they live a life of confinement and misery in small cages. Let's tell the people of Toronto that Thanksgiving is murder on turkeys and urge everyone to choose a veg diet instead! Join us this
weekend for a Thanksgiving "Turkey Massacre" demonstration and leafletting event in honor of the many turkeys who will lose their lives this year for people's consumption.
