Explore the artistry of glassmaking and architecture through very personal lenses. Haanstra looks at mechanized and artisanal glass manufacturing processes in his native Holland, and Kahn offers an intimate portrait of his legendary father, Louis Kahn.

About "Wide Lens: Oscar Documentaries":
SFMOMA, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, and California College of the Arts copresent a series of Academy Award-nominated and -winning documentaries from the last 40 years. Curated by Rob Epstein, chair of graduate film at CCA, the series commences with a panel discussion on documentary film in public culture.

Sunday programs are Free with Museum admission.

At Thursday's opening, they said Nathaniel Kahn (who also has a short film this year which is nominated for an Oscar) is scheduled to be at the screening.
