Why chinooks fly over East Hampshire October 13, 2010

The life-saving importance of Chinook aircrew training over East Hampshire will be the subject of talk by the Commanding Officer of RAF Odiham next week.

Group Captain Steve Shell will describe how the familiar sight of Chinooks flying over our heads in East Hampshire is an integral part of support to ground troops in Afghanistan.

The talk will take place at 6pm at Penns Place, in advance of East Hampshire District Council's Full Council meeting on Wednesday October 13
