About the book:
Derrick Payton gets promoted to full store manager after nine years of hard work, only to be told the store is on a downhill skid. He's got one week to improve sales or the company will shut the store down permanent!
Now he's got to deal with employees who don't understand the importance of arriving for work on time, back-stabbing managers who want him to fail, and over-demanding customers who are about to push him over the edge.

About the author:
David Lucero is an award-winning author living in San Diego with his wife of 23 years. He has worked in the retail industry for the past two decades, and is currently store manager of Pacific Sales Kitchen, Bath & Electronics located in Chula Vista, CA. His first novel, THE SANDMAN, placed 1st Runner-Up in the Military Writer's Society of America's 2009 Book Awards.
