Whooznxt Slated For September Premier On Time Warner Cable’s So Cal 101 September 16, 2011

Top bands and emerging artists to be showcased in series

Time Warner Cable in partnership with WHOOZNXT (pron: “who’s next”) will debut a special Hip Hop music program September 16, 2011 featuring renowned Hip Hop artist DJ Quik and some of SoCal’s best emerging Hip Hop artists. The 30 minute program will premiere on Time Warner Cable’s regional channel - SoCal 101 Friday September 16th at 10:00 PM and rebroadcast throughout the month. In addition to featuring DJ Quik, this special programming will showcase some of the most popular Hip Hop artists from Southern California, hosted by Hannah Telle, this special feature will take viewers backstage with artists, as well as to front row seats for the performances. The show will include a segment entitled “NXT Ten,” featuring rising stars in music today.

Additional performances from each of the featured artists will be available to Time Warner Cable customers via Local OnDemand. The Southern California performance will be hosted from the world renowned Nokia Theatre .

WHOOZNXT CEO and creator, Jeff Yapp, whose career has led him to top positions at MTV, where he created a number of top selling brands for the network, has brought together an award-winning team of producers, marketers and music industry executives to spearhead the innovative venture.
