Who Are the Greens?
Workshops exploring the third force in Australian Politics

The Greens enjoyed a huge swing in the 2010 Federal election, resulting in 10 elected Members and the balance of power in the Senate.

Following these results, we are offering some "Greens 101" workshops for members and non-members who would like to know more about us!

Attendees do NOT need to be Greens member, vote Green or even be a vague supporter ... you just need to be curious!

The Greens are the third force in Australian politics, acting as a voice for peace, the environment and social justice across the country and the world.

- But have you ever wondered what makes Greens tick?
- Ever wanted to know our history, processes or policies?
- How accurate is the media portrayal of the Greens?
- Is it really possible to achieve anything in parliament as a minor party?

This engaging, accessible workshop is a great starting point to learn more and questions are welcome!

After the workshop, please stay for refreshments and networking / individual questions.

There will be two sessions in 2010:
1-3pm: Sunday 17 Oct 2010
Greens WA Office, 445 Hay St, Perth

1-3pm: Saturday 27 Nov 2010
Glyde In, 42 Glyde St, East Fremantle
