Whitley and the Hard Times Band has been performing to sell-out audiences throughout the New York Metropolitan area. They perform the exciting and uplifting music of Ray Charles, which include a wonderful blend of musical styles which range from jazz and blues, to country and R&B. The band features Whitley on lead vocals, Angela Workman (an original Raylette!) on background vocals, Jennifer McDonald on background vocals, Bobby Deitch (musical director) on drums, Joe Macaro on bass, James Spears and Jeremy Goddard on keyboards, Greg George on alto saxophone, John Farnsworth on tenor saxophone, Mitch Endick on baritone saxophone and Joyce Toth on trumpet.
